My name is Helena Castle and I am a graduate of the University of Texas with a degree in biology. My love of STEM and desire to share it with future innovators has fueled in me a passion for education. As a product of the UTeach Natural Sciences Program, I have increasingly experienced the value of Project-Based Learning and Making and believe they are priceless tools for personal, innovative growth in the classroom. 

 

I will complete my Composite Science Teaching Certificate for 7th through 12th grade sciences in May of 2020, and after hope to continue to develop and teach curriculum that empowers and inspires students in Texas.
